Jennifer + Mik | Chicago Couple Photographer

Okay, so let's state the obvious and recognize how absolutely adorable this couple is! Are they not? Jen and Mik had one short weekend to spend together, as he is in the military, and they chose to spend part of it with me! I can only thank them that they chose me to photograph such a special relationship that means the world to them. We had just gotten about 20+ inches of snow a few short days before their session so it was definitely a winter wonderland out there - we even had a few lingering flurries! Temperatures were surprisingly bearable so it made for a great time!

I just love how honest and true their emotions are towards each other in these photos. They didn't have any trouble at all being in love :)

Gina | Homer Glen Portrait Photographer

I just love this set of images so much! Gina is always a pleasure to photograph. We've experienced both a 80+ degree session and now a 20 or so degree session. Both were amazing, to say the least! I am so glad I stumbled upon this location the other day. I decided to take a different way home and came right into the area where all these old barns were. So much to work with! A photographer's heaven.

Hope you guys are enjoying the new blog. I'm hoping to get better about keeping up to date with things! Especially now since I'll be getting busy very soon! Can't wait for that! :)

Enjoy the preview! You can also see the full session over at my website....

Gianluca | Schaumburg Infant Photographer

Meet little Gianluca - Six months old and already knowing how to break hearts with his adorable brown eyes and cute little pouty lips! His mommy and I had such a fun time playing around the house with him. Whether it's blowing bubbles or smiling at his mommy, Gianluca showed just how loved he really is! Nothing like a beautiful, happy baby to make you smile.

Big thanks to Rebecca for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to help capture these precious  and unforgettable moments of your baby boy and his ever changing features. Can't wait to see you again little man!

Alexandria | Oak Forest Portrait Photographer

Alexandria is such a sweetheart. She always has a smile on her face and has such a wonderful presence about herself. She needed a few updated head shots for an upcoming audition and I think we nailed it! She looks absolutely wonderful! I also really got to test out the newest lens I've been renting for her session and I am in love with it! It'll be hard to give it back this week!

I am also constantly reminding myself that Spring really is only a short time away. I guess you can say I'm kinda bored with this wintery scene we have outside! Though, I look back at a session like this and really do enjoy it....sometimes! ;)

Vinnie | Joliet Portrait Photographer

When people see my work as a whole, there aren't many guys in there. Nothing against boys, they just seem to shy away from the camera but Vinnie sure showed that guys can definitely bring it and have a blast while doing so! It was a great change of pace for me to work with a different subject and helped me test my creativity in a different manner.

Downtown Joliet has always and will always be a favorite location of mine. I'm just beginning to explore it more and more - and I keep finding these awesome spots which are completely hidden and beautiful in their own ways! Winter has definitely brought me some obstacles but I've come to agree that it at least brings forth one good thing....snow is the perfect natural reflector. I haven't had the need to bring my own reflector around in my past several sessions because the snow did that job for me quite well!

I am definitely ready to get back to warmer weather. It just suites my style. I need warmth, colors, sun flares, etc. I miss it!
